That seems like it would come in really handy. Especially for humans who have periods and nobody in their life to teach them. Good for whatever company created the ad!

I know... it is a good thing, but it was very startling! There's been a spate of in-your-face ads about Female Business of late, which is a good thing, because there are so many things we've all been taught to be ashamed of and not talk about. I *think* it's more the attitude that took me aback, and if it had been a Psst, hey girl, are you doing Tampax right? rather than Get it up there, Gurrrls! I would have been straightforwardly delighted.

I guess it didn't fit my middle-class sensibilities!

Was it the get it up there girls one? that felt quite... shocking, but it's definitely good that these things are being normalised.

It is good, but yes, it was that one and it did feel quite shocking. I agree, it's good that tampons, and VAGINAL DRYNESS, and incontinence, are being dealt with in a straightforward 'that happens' way. It was just so very In Your Face!
