pensnestI spent quite a bit of this afternoon as an electrician's mate.
We have a cupboard under the stairs in one of our bedrooms, which we are going to have converted into a more useable wardrobe-style space, but there were some electrical switches installed on the inside of the cupboard, and these have to be removed before we can use the space. Beast is not afraid of electricity, though he has a healthy respect for it, and so this afternoon he investigated the switches, and has rationalised, removing one, suspending another, and rewiring the third in a different place. I stood there and handed him stuff, or occasionally fetched and carried. Dull, but it saves time to have a minion for this kind of thing, and possibly I even learned somthing. (It probably won't stick, as my brain seems to have a high level of resistance for anything involving volts, amps or, um, suchlike.)
We'll probably try dismantling the cupboard wall on Sunday. Tomorrow is WoW day (for him) and for me, Experiments With Sourdough. Anyone have a recipe for sourdough pancakes?
