Sable has changed so much. She's very happy to pace over us to get into snuggle position on the sofa, and to settle in and be petted while I watch telly. She doesn't eat all her food straight away, either, which I take to mean that she is confident she will be fed again and therefore doesn't need to gobble it while she can.
She does, however, disapprove of us being in bed during the day. Our energy supplier did the 'save energy during this period and win cash points' thing yesterday, from 4.30-6pm, so we turned stuff off and retreated to bed to read/do puzzles/snooze. The cat noticed this, and came up to express her displeasure. She was very vocal about it. We tried to lure her onto the bed for a cuddle, but no. Instead, she appeared to snuggle onto my pyjama top, which was on the floor.... we later discovered it was wet and stinky. Bad cat! Beast remembered that she had done much the same thing a month ago. As a manifestation of Do Not Approve, it's pretty potent.

Otters, juggling rocks.

We watched 'The Menu' yesterday. It's a little hard to describe without spoilers, but it involves a couple going to a very, very fancy and exclusive restaurant, at which the chef explains the emotional/theoretical background to each course before it is served. I was startled, here and there, and gleeful. I enjoyed it quite a lot, considering. Can't remember if it was on Apple TV or Disney+, but it is worth a couple of hours of your time.

Date: 2023-02-09 04:39 pm (UTC)I don't willingly watch 'horror', unless Shaun of the Dead counts(?), but this wasn't the kind of horror I don't watch, so it was fine. Blackly funny, really.
