A brief note on icons

Someone on my flist mentioned not long ago a desire for a free/cheap program to make icons, and I mentioned the GIMP. Apparently, there's now a gimp_tutorial community, which ought to be useful.

And, wandering through icon communities, I've come across some pretty stuff which you may like to investigate.

http://teacupstar.livejournal.com/8139.html is all about ducks, mostly bright yellow plastic ones. Cute and vivid.

Worth a look, if you have a yen for any non-fandom stuff.

Even aside from the whole Rocky Horror love, I saw Tim Curry a zillion years ago on Broadway in this lovely fluffy show called Me and My Girl and fell madly in love and haven't ever really recovered. ::squees again::

Tim Curry did Me and My Girl? Lovely! Robert Lindsay did the show in London, and I missed it, sigh. But, I *think* I saw Tim Curry in the Rocky Horror Show, when I was a student. Pitifully, I can't remember if it was TC playing Frank or not, but I was a bit bewildered by it all, particularly the scary people lurking in the auditorium to molest members of the audience...
