happy birthday to Me!

The doorbell rang at ten o'clock this morning, and I answered it to a barbershop quartet, nicely matchd in white shirts and yellow ties, who sang Happy Birthday to me, gave me a card and a large bunch of flowers, and sang me another, very jaunty song (about a car). I couldn't have beamed more, and felt quite teary once they were done.

I retreated to add the new flowers to my arrangements, plus fill another vase.

The guys ('Mustard') are now rehearsing in our back garden!
