Inauguration thoughts
Jan. 20th, 2009 11:55 pmThere's something about the sight of a really huge crowd that moves me. All those people gathered in one place for the same purpose. Solemn occasions, celebratory occasions, occasions that are both, like today's. All those people for whom it meant something, meant so much that they would get up at some ungodly hour and stand in freezing temperatures for hours. Crowds like that are brilliant.
