pensnestJust lemme take the weight off my feet. Phew. Off with the stylish heels, on with the fluffy mules.
I've spent the morning making a film! Okay, participating in the making of a film. The son of one of my AmDram friends directed a play a year or two ago, then went off to work on Harry Potters three and four, and is now turning that play into a film. It's set at a wedding, so wedding guests, smartly togged up and ready to smile, laugh, cringe etc, were required. So... a surprisingly interesting morning - it was a good play, very clever, by turns funny, dramatic and moving, so the Beast and I are looking forward to seeing the final version. And it's not so boring being an extra when you can spend the in-between times nattering with people you choose to spend time with anyway.
Went straight from the film set to our rehearsal rooms for more 'Red Hot and Cole', which is shaping up rather nicely. We did concentrated hard work on a 'Kiss Me Kate' medley, which is going to look GOOD! Jazz hands, and Viennese waltzing, and all kinds. But my poor feet do ache.
The brats are cooking tea. The scent of sausages is rising!
