Do you ever fanfic your own work? I was reconsidering my recent 'Dragon Country' story, and realised that obviously, JC's (unknown) father was a dragon in human form. It would explain rather a lot. I think Adam notices it when Lance takes him to view JC's sculptures. Chris is of course very chuffed. I don't quite know why this feels like 'fanfic' rather than 'an extension of this universe', but it does. Perhaps it's because the notion is completely irrelevant to the story, but is still a neat explanation of this JC—and I know for certain that the author didn't put it in there when she was writing it!

It is very liberating to throw things away! We bunged a whole bunch of magazines into the recycling bin and have rearranged the shelves in the sitting room to accommodate what remains. I've also finally accepted that I'm not going to host any more Murder dinner parties, and put those boxes into the charity shop pile, along with a bunch of assorted board games. Don't know if the library will take the art books—probably not, as they were my mother's and will be too old—but the Oxfam bookshop will probably be happy with them. They are good books, but I haven't so much as opened them in years.
I have also been repainting some boxes, and distributing compost about the garden in preparation for putting beans, tomatoes, squashes and courgettes into various locations. Some of the seedlings are looking very sturdy now.
Oh, btw,
chalcopyrite, your sprouts look very good!
